Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and de veined
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

How To Prepare
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they become soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the peeled and de veined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the shrimp, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough and rubbery.
- Once the shrimp are cooked through, remove the skillet from the heat
