Creamy White Chicken is a delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken cooked in a creamy white sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Directions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, dried thyme, dried oregano, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  7. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

TIPS: Serve the creamy white chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as pasta, rice or steamed vegetables.
