Oven Baked Chicken recipe is simple yet flavorful, with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (you can also use bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts or drumsticks)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

How To Prepare

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, paprika, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken thighs, then rub them all over with the spice mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side up on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  6. Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once the chicken thighs are cooked through, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before consuming.
