- 1 loaf of Italian bread or French baguette
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt, to taste
How to Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, creating two long halves.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the garlic butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
