Homemade garlic bread is a delightful and aromatic treat that’s simple to make and pairs perfectly with pasta dishes, soups, salads, or enjoyed on its own as a snack.

Simple Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread or French baguette
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt, to taste

How to Prepare

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, creating two long halves.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the garlic butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
