  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping
  1. Directions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash the asparagus spears and trim off the tough ends.
  • Place the asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat evenly.
  • Spread the asparagus out in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy.
