  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Ways to cook

Cook the Pasta

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until ideal consistency of pasta. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken breasts until they are no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 6-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Alternatively, you can use pre-cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a large skillet or pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine the Ingredients

  1. Stir in the condensed cream of chicken soup, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and chicken broth until well combined.
  2. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
  3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

Add Cheese

  1. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the chicken and spaghetti mixture.
  2. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is heated through.

Ready to Serve

  1. Once the cheese is melted and the sauce is heated through, remove the skillet from the heat.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Chicken Spaghetti!
